## Write a message in three steps

1. Step 1  ### Fill your profile once  Your experience, projects and skills on lazee.dev are what the message draws on. Upload your resume PDF to fill it faster.
2. Step 2  ### Open the compose box  In Gmail, a LinkedIn chat or connection request, or an X DM, click the lazee.dev button and say who you're writing to and the company.
3. Step 3  ### Pick a type and tone, then insert  Choose the message type and tone, generate, edit, and insert it. You send it yourself.

## Tied to the job, when you want

Add the job description (found on the page, pasted, or fetched from a job link) and the message speaks to that role. Pick which resume to attach in Gmail before you generate.

## Recruiter message questions

Is the recruiter message generator free?

It's a Pro feature. Free users can use it with Pro Passes, earned by inviting friends: one pass per message. It costs 6 credits (12 with the job description), or 0 with your own AI key.

Does it send messages for me?

No. It writes the draft into the box you're in. You read it, edit it and send it yourself.

Will a LinkedIn connection note fit?

Yes. By the "Add a note" box of a connection request it keeps the note within LinkedIn's character limit.

Can it attach my resume?

In Gmail it attaches the resume you pick as a real attachment and fills the subject line.

Which tones can I choose?

Professional, Casual, Friendly and Gen Z, for five message types: job inquiry, networking, collaboration proposal, freelance pitch and custom.

Which browsers are supported?
