Where to find remote developer jobs: a board that reads company career pages directly
Why aggregators go stale, how a job board that syncs straight from company applicant tracking systems every 12 hours stays current, and the remote job pages to start from.
By Tushar Soni, founder of Lazee.dev
The frustrating part of a remote job search is not the lack of listings. It is that the listing you found was filled three weeks ago, posted twice under different titles, or marked “remote” by an aggregator when the company meant “remote within Texas”. The data is second-hand, and it ages.
The fix is to read the source. Almost every tech company publishes its openings through an applicant tracking system (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, SmartRecruiters, BambooHR) with a public board. Those boards are current by definition: a job is there while the company is hiring for it, and gone the day it closes.
A board that syncs from the source
The Lazee job board does exactly that. Every 12 hours it reads the career sites of 80+ companies (350+ counting the Y Combinator, ClanX and Superteam startups it tracks) directly from their applicant tracking systems. New jobs appear, changed ones update, and anything the company takes down disappears on the next refresh. The board shows when it last updated and when the next refresh is due, so you always know how fresh the list is.
There is no middle layer and no reposting. Every listing links to the original posting on the company’s own site, which is also where you apply, and where the Lazee extension autofills the form.
Filters that match how you search
The board filters by role (frontend, backend, full stack, mobile, AI/ML, data, DevOps, product, design and more), experience level, country or region, city (28 tech hubs, matched on the job’s stated location), workplace (remote, hybrid, on-site), the platform the company hires through, free-text search, and whether a salary is listed. You can pick several values per filter: ?role=frontend, backend&workplace=remote is a valid page.
“Remote” comes from what the posting itself states: the board’s workplace field, or “Remote” in its location. A job whose board says neither is left unlabelled rather than assumed remote. Combine remote with a region filter to find roles that are remote and hire where you live, which is the question that actually matters.
Start from these pages
Each combination of filters with enough open jobs has its own page, updated with every sync. These are the ones people start from most:
- Remote frontend developer jobs
- Remote backend developer jobs
- Remote full stack developer jobs
- Remote DevOps jobs
- AI/ML engineer jobs
- Remote product manager jobs
- Remote jobs in India
- Remote jobs in the US
- Remote jobs in Europe
- Senior software engineer jobs
- Entry level jobs in India
Every page links to its broader and narrower neighbours (remote frontend jobs to remote jobs, and to remote frontend jobs in India), so you can walk the board without coming back to the filters.
Make the board yours
- Use my preferences. Signed in, one click turns the job preferences on your profile (work setup, regions, roles, level) into filters, which you can then adjust like any other.
- Save jobs. Bookmark up to 300 listings; they live on your saved jobs page and drop off by themselves when the company closes the posting.
- ATS match on every listing. Before you open an application, the match button scores the posting against your profile. The score explained post covers what it counts.
- Share. The share icon hands the apply link to your device’s share sheet, no account needed.
For developers: the same data as an API
If you would rather query than browse, the Lazee Jobs API serves the same dataset over REST with the same filters, plus an MCP server for AI assistants. There is a free plan on RapidAPI. Please use it instead of scraping the board.
Spend the saved time on the interview.
Profile autofill is free and unlimited. Install the extension, fill your profile once, and the next application takes a few clicks.
